1 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Loona app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
2 Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Loona.
- You must be a current or past student of an enrolled college campus.
- You must have a valid Google account to sign in.
3 User Conduct & Community Rules
You agree NOT to:
- Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, violent, or sexually explicit.
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
- Share personal contact information (phone numbers, emails) of yourself or others.
- Post misinformation or impersonate other individuals.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform.
- Create multiple accounts or use the platform for commercial spam.
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban without notice.
4 Anonymous Confessions
Loona provides an anonymous confessions feature. While we protect your anonymity from other users, you remain responsible for the content you post. Illegal content (threats, CSAM, incitement) will be reported to authorities as required by law.
5 Potato Currency (In-App Points)
Potatoes (🥔) are virtual in-app points earned through activity. They have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or sold. We reserve the right to adjust or reset potato balances at any time.
6 Premium Features
Some features may require a Premium subscription. Premium is billed through Google Play. All purchases are subject to Google Play's refund policy. We do not issue refunds directly.
7 Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Loona a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your content within the platform. We do not sell or license your content to third parties.
8 Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, our community guidelines, or applicable Indian law, without prior notice. Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team within 48 hours.
9 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Loona is provided "as is". We are not liable for user-generated content, service interruptions, or any indirect damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
10 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time — see our Account Deletion page for details.
11 Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you of significant changes in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
